JOB TITLE: Business Development Executive EMPLOYING ENTITY: Dutypoint Limited EMPLOYMENT BASIS: Permanent LOCATION: Gloucester HOURS OF WORK: 42.5 per week REPORTS TO: Business Development Manager PURPOSE OF ROLE: Your primary role is to increase the chances of success on all projects by keeping a track of quotes and opportunities that have not been secured by a contractor using our CRM system. Day to day activity includes calling contacts, building rapport and updating the system with project updates accordingly. In addition to this task it would be to conduct telesales activities to new or gone-away customers. TEAM FUNCTION: The team is focused on maintaining contact with the full network of customers and regularly following up projects/opportunities until they are 'flipped'. RESPONSIBILITIES: Follow-up quotes on the CRM system, and adding key data to the CRM where necessary Proactive calls to existing or new customers Locating and tracking down opportunities, network with different influencers and customer types to create quotable opportunities of the complete Fluid Water Group portfolio Give technical advice and assisting customers with product selections and recommendations to suit their needs Working with customers post order to ensure experience exceeds expectations MEASURES OF SUCCESS: Number of completed calls made in a given period Conversion of opportunities to flipped in order to increase the secured pipeline Increase network of contacts Ensure the information and activity in CRM in kept up to date Promote, where possible, other products in the Fluid Water Group portfolio, to 'swell' the opportunity KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Experience in working with customers in a sales environment Excellent verbal communication skills and comfortable on the telephone Competent level of IT skills with experience using CRM High level of attention to detail ATTRIBUTES: Self-motivated, tenacious, inquisitive, driven to succeed, and results oriented want to win Friendly demeanour that can build relationships easily Can do attitude Operate as part of wider team Willing to listen and learn

JOB TITLE: Technical Support Engineer EMPLOYING ENTITY: Dutypoint Ltd EMPLOYMENT BASIS: Permanent LOCATION: Office/Field Based REPORTS TO: Technical Support Manager PURPOSE OF ROLE: The Technical Support Engineer role is a very fulfilling role focusing on supporting any department across the company primarily the Sales, Service and production departments - on technical matters as they arise, including site visits and trouble-shooting customer issues over the phone. This is a fast-paced reactive role driven by serving the many and varied needs of our valued customers according to their requested timescales, but always with a strong focus on attention to detail. Other tasks could include supporting new product development, hands-on technical support in our factory as required, electrical design work (including process and instrumentation drawings), continuous improvement projects, conducting factory acceptance/quality checks in our manufacturing facility to ensure designs comply with relevant specifications/standards and is in line with the client s brief. RESPONSIBILITIES: Supporting the internal and external sales teams with technical solutions within budget constraints etc. via ticketing system. Supporting the onsite service team with technical queries such as specifying new units to replace existing failed units. Site visits as required to investigate issues or provide advice on a technical problem Running mini continuous improvement projects from start to finish. Supporting our in-house manufacturing team with technical problems arising in production and liaising with other stakeholders in the business to resolve the issue to the satisfaction of all parties, most importantly the customer! Supporting our purchasing team with technical product queries. Supplier and cross-departmental liaison Supporting with the creation of O&M manuals, datasheets and installation guides as necessary. Briefing CAD technicians on drafting technical solutions and supporting them with other general technical queries. Technical opinions/reports in customer disputes KNOWLEDGE: Pumping and hydraulics Variable speed drives and other pump controllers HVAC and other mechanical and electrical building services Cold and hot water systems Foul and surface water systems Domestic and commercial plumbing Monitoring and controls SKILLS: Practical hands-on experience advantageous Good at managing multiple/conflicting priorities and managing internal or external customer expectations Commercially savvy Good at working under pressure and to deadlines. TEAM FUNCTION: To produce a wide range of high-quality, locally designed cold and waste water pumping solutions. RESPONSIBILITIES: Mechanical assembly and electrical control wiring of pump pressure booster systems, adhering to health and safety processes Assembly of pumps, valves and stainless steel/PVC pipework in a variety of tanks Invertor and control panel wiring, fitting out of Kiosks with electrical equipment and pump sets Manufacturer product in line with scheduled planning, ensuring issues are raised, where necessary Produce systems to the highest quality with attention to detail MEASURES OF SUCCESS: Completing the production process in timely manner and in line with schedule, following drawing/BOM's Limited number of product failures at test stage or on site Adhering to health and safety procedures and processes, ensuring all near misses are recorded Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the production area KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Minimum 5 years experience of working with water pumping equipment Mechanical and Electrical aptitude Interested in technical products and solutions Knowledge of clean water boosting and/or heating systems High level of attention to detail ATTRIBUTES: Punctual and good time management skill Willing to learn new software and processes, and attend training where required Having a keen eye for compliance and best practice Operate as part of wider team Can do attitude
