The successful candidate will have experience setting and operating Agathon and Rollomatic CNC grinding machines, producing high-quality precision tools to tight tolerances from engineering drawings. Proficient in interpreting and editing Fanuc/G-code-based controls to optimise grinding programmes. Skilled in using manual and electronic measuring equipment to ensure first-off and in-process accuracy. Strong commitment to ISO quality standards, 5S principles, and health & safety procedures. Key Responsibilities Set and operate 4 and 5-axis CNC grinding machines. Manufacture high-precision components in a high-mix, low-volume production environment. Read and interpret engineering drawings to produce components within tight tolerances. Diagnose and resolve machine, tooling, and material issues to minimise downtime and optimise cycle times. Carry out routine maintenance and preventative care on machinery. Identify and implement process improvements to reduce set-up times and increase efficiency. Conduct quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process using precision measuring equipment. Skills & Experience Minimum of 2 years' experience setting and operating Agathon and/or Rollomatic CNC grinding machines. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Experience with Fanuc/G-code programming and editing is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement. Team player with a positive, can-do attitude and excellent communication skills.
