Senior Project Manager Galldris Group Location: Sizewell, Suffolk, United Kingdom An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Project Manager to join our Sizewell team. To be considered, you will come from a Civil Engineering Background. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible to oversee either higher value, fast turnover, or complex delivery programmes. The postholder will normally have increase delivery workstreams and increased customer reporting. The postholder will be responsible for every aspect of the project under their remit, including the planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure within the timeframe targets and ensure budgets are met. Key Accountabilities to include but not limited to: Understand programme and ensure good programme management: Short term planning and communication of programme with the team Correct administration and approval of contract programme (i.e. Cl31, Cl32, CE programmes & Cl14) Ensure programme is adequately resourced with staff, operatives, and supply chain Oversee and ensure that the project contract documents are understood and that the contract is being administered correctly Ensure that the project team comply with all relevant safe systems of work. Provide resources and provide active management for any third-party liaison and management of interfaces Support and endorse Galldris Behavioural Safety programme and the use of hazard observation reporting (or Customer lead initiatives similar to above where required) Ensure that the Galldris project team are correctly managing quality in accordance with the Quality Management Plan, including ITPs, Check Sheets/WIS and NCRs. Setup and ensure document control procedures and electronic platforms are in place and adhered to correctly Development of project controls for internal and external reporting and adherence to any internal/external KPI reporting Management of designers and consultants (when the project has design responsibilities): Input in designer / consultant contracts. Input into designer deliverables and timely delivery of design programme. Support to design management function and adhere to design management procedures. Actively manage risks and opportunities Oversee and ensure that both cost and value are managed correctly and reported. Update resource planning and contingencies every month. Track and recover change and additional value where required Prepare Monthly Project Progress Report and lead presentations to the customer. Prepare and present the Monthly Project Reviews and CVRs to Galldris Senior Management Team Support work winning team and bid managers with opportunities and pipeline. Be able to act as a pre-construction lead /bid manager Demonstrate behaviours that create a positive leadership shadow to the Galldris Project Team whilst providing professional credibility and integrity with our customers. Undertake other duties commensurate with the level of this position Comply with Company policies & procedures Experience/Knowledge: Extensive Construction knowledge of techniques and productivities A successful track record in managing operational delivery within construction. Temporary Works experience Experience in working on a variety of large-scale projects and managing large multi-disciplined teams Ability to train, mentor and coach multi-disciplined teams Experience in presenting detailed reports to the Senior Management Team Qualifications: Relevant formal qualification is essential: HNC, HND, Degree CSCS CITB 5 Day Safety Supervisor Skills: IT literate Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Ability to deal with clients, internal staff and ability to work on own initiative Meticulous, organised, pro-active with a positive attitude and willingness to learn Excellent organisational and planning skills Interested applicants must be eligible to work legally in the UK. Quality Assurance Engineer Galldris Group Location: Sizewell, Suffolk An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Team. To be considered, you will come from a Construction or Civil Engineering Background. The Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for the quality assurance process. Ensure a project is handed over with accurate records and within the agreed timescales and quality standards. This document should be read in conjunction with the Galldris Services Ltd Safety Management System. Key Accountabilities to include but not limited to: Support the operational team with accurate record keeping and document control Collate and mange ITPs with engineering team and subcontractors Support design coordinators and design managers with their duties Track equipment and update equipment registers Update and compliance with Project Quality Plan Ensure project compliance with the project and Galldris quality procedures Support engineering team and subcontractors with NCR process Awareness of project specific handover documentation. Track and collate and handover documentation to support Handover File and O&Ms Awareness of Environmental issues within the construction company environment and the Environmental Manual policy and objectives Awareness of Occupational Health and Safety issues within the construction company environment and the Galldris Services Ltd OH&S policy statement and objectives Undertake other duties commensurate with the level of this position Comply with Company polices & procedures Experience/Knowledge: Knowledge of Health & Safety Legislation Good knowledge of plant Construction or Civil Engineering experience is essential Skills: Good Communication Skills Thorough understanding of Workflow Commitment to the implementation of Materials Logistics To be able to work with initiative when outside influences affect planned operations Qualifications: Degree or similar CSCS Card Interested applicants must be eligible to work legally in the UK. Concrete Pump Driver Galldris Group Location: East Anglia, to cover Sizewell C, and various other sites throughout East Anglia ODG Plant Hire, as part of Galldris Group have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Concrete Pump A06 driver. To be considered, you will come from a Construction background. This position is full time. Please note there may be early starts and late finishes. This role involves heavy lifting therefore a reasonable level of fitness is required. Daily responsibilities will include : Travelling to & from sites/setting up concrete pump to pump concrete relevant to site needs Setting up and operating the concrete pump all relevant to site needs and in accordance with H&S guidelines including liaising with site operatives to always ensure safe pumping Liaise with concrete delivery drivers and site operatives to ensure safe pumping of concrete Complete daily vehicle checks as well as performing pre and post safety checks on the machine Cleaning down the site the pump pipes and the pump and pump vehicle Requirements for the role: A HGV Class 2 vehicle licence holder who holds a current CPCS Card. A valid CPCS A78 card / CSCS Valid Class 2 License CPC Qualification Digital Tachograph Card A06 - Concrete Pump Hours are 6:30am - 16:30pm - Monday to Friday, extra hours occasionally needed. We can offer PAYE or CIS. Experience: Must have experience on pumps up to 52m Construction background Licence/Certification: A06 - Concrete Pump Schedule: 10-hour shift Varies Interested applicants must be eligible to work legally in the UK.
