About the Role Our client is looking for a creative and proactive Content & Communications Marketing Executive to join its growing marketing team. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you'll own the company's social media, create engaging content, deliver email campaigns and coordinate events and exhibitions. This is initially a 9-month contract, with a view to the role becoming permanent. Key Responsibilities Create engaging content for social media, websites, email, case studies, blogs and marketing collateral, including graphics, photography and video. Manage LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube, including the content calendar, scheduling and performance reporting. Plan, design and deliver email campaigns and newsletters, tracking results and recommending improvements. Work with the Digital Marketing Executive to update website content, landing pages and news articles. Coordinate exhibitions, trade shows and company events, including stand graphics, logistics and promotion. Maintain a consistent brand identity and tone of voice across all channels. Essential Skills & Experience Experience in a content, communications or social media marketing role, ideally B2B. Excellent copywriting, editing and proofreading skills. Experience delivering email marketing campaigns. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva, plus photo and video editing. Experience with WordPress, Statamic or a similar CMS - desired, not essential Strong organisation, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines. Desirable Experience in construction, health and safety, training or technical B2B sectors. Familiarity with Brevo or Mailchimp, SEO and marketing analytics. Experience coordinating exhibitions or corporate events. You don't need a teaching qualification or any previous teaching experience. Our client will fund and support you through a full teacher training pathway, from a Level 3 Award in Education and Training through to a Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training, while you earn a full salary. Your hands-on industry experience is what matters most. You will be given training, mentoring and support to turn that experience into outstanding teaching, learning and assessment for our funded and non-funded learners and apprentices. What we offer: Fully funded teacher training from Level 3 to Level 5 Structured mentoring and support from experienced tutors as you develop Generous annual leave Optional health care plan Generous employer pension contribution Death-in-service benefit Critical illness insurance cover (after 12 months' service) Salary exchange scheme Cycle2Work Scheme Strong employer networks and modern training facilities As a Mechanical Tutor, you will be responsible for: Learn and apply the full teaching cycle, taking an inclusive approach to teaching, training and assessment in line with the Education Inspection Framework Bring real-world engineering practice into the classroom and workshop, embedding safe industrial working practices throughout Develop schemes of work and session plans that deliver an engaging curriculum and meet the needs of all learners and stakeholders Build and maintain relationships with employers, understanding their requirements and offering suitable training solutions, including bespoke options where applicable Provide support, information and advice to learners at every stage of their programme, signposting to internal and external support where appropriate Support business development and recruitment activities at internal and external events and during apprentice recruitment Work with the Delivery Team Director to develop employer relationships, including reporting on learner progress Assist the Delivery Team Director with costings and control of materials and equipment when required Help learners complete their qualifications, apprenticeship standards and learning programmes on time, flagging anyone at risk of falling behind Maintain accurate records of learner progress and achievement Take part in internal quality assurance processes and help maintain Awarding Organisation approval Comply with and contribute to internal and external standards, including ESFA, Ofsted and Awarding Organisation requirements (full training provided) Commit to your own professional development, including completing your funded teaching qualifications Promote equality, diversity and inclusion, and build fair, professional and supportive relationships with colleagues, learners and apprentices The ideal candidate will have: A strong background as a Mechanical Engineer or in a mechanical engineering trade, with solid hands-on industry experience A recognised engineering qualification (e.g. Level 3 NVQ, BTEC, HNC/HND, or a completed apprenticeship) A genuine passion for engineering and a desire to share your skills and knowledge with others A willingness to complete a fully funded Level 3 to Level 5 teaching qualification Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the patience to support learners of all abilities Good organisational skills and a methodical approach The ability to work independently and as part of a team
