Position Overview: As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will collaborate with the IT Security Team to advise, develop, and maintain security processes and policies. Your expertise will guide the organization in enhancing security capabilities across its global infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Support incident management and security response efforts, providing expertise to address and resolve security incidents quickly and effectively. Perform regular security checks, including daily, weekly, and monthly monitoring of systems and resolving any identified vulnerabilities. Assist with compliance checks, ensure security standards are adhered to, and investigate exceptions to ensure adherence to policies. Contribute to the development and enhancement of security policies, processes, and procedures to maintain robust security across all systems. Identify and evaluate security risks, providing proactive solutions to strengthen the organization s security posture. Participate in testing and improving disaster recovery (DR) plans to ensure system resilience and continuity in the event of an attack or failure. Essential Skills & Experience: At least 2 years of hands-on experience in information security or IT infrastructure within an enterprise environment. Familiarity with security standards such as ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, GDPR, and Data Protection Act. Experience with Microsoft O365 Security solutions and network security operations. Understanding of security testing principles, including vulnerability scanning, risk identification, and mitigation. Knowledge of security auditing and security incident response processes. Experience with event and log analysis to monitor and assess security risks. Solid understanding of Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity principles. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear, accessible manner.
