We re working with a large manufacturing business which operates 24/7 that is actively seeking to add an experienced Shift Maintenance Engineer to join its Manufacturing Engineering Support teams. Electrical or Multiskilled Shift Engineer Average 42 hour working week Days or Nights plus overtime £50 - £55,000 per annum You will be responsible for servicing and maintenance of all production related equipment, including Fault diagnosis and repair, continuous improvement project/task work, ordering of spares and reviewing/checking designs and drawing on installation projects. To be successful, we would like you to have: A recognised industrial Electrical qualification (17th/18th Edition). Have experience working as a Shift Electrician or as a dedicated Electrical or Multi skilled Engineer in a Manufacturing environment. Experience in the print, packaging or associated industries would be great but is not essential. Experience with maintenance programmes. Ideally experience working a buddy system with a Mechanical Engineer. Have good communication, organisational and team work skills. Self motivation, ability to apply initiative and determination. Specific training where required will be provided, OEM suppliers and via remote modem diagnostic support from the OEM. Duties include: Set up machinery to produce jobs in line with job bag instructions. Allocate tasks to crew members (If applicable) Keep the work area tidy and machinery in good order to ensure all work is correctly labeled and quarantine procedures are followed. Ensure that jobs are completed in a timely manner and are inline with despatch instructions Ensure Company Health, safety and environmental procedures are followed.
