The Role: As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial responsibility for major civil engineering packages, with duties including: Commercial management of large-scale heavy civils and infrastructure packages . Administering NEC3 and NEC4 contracts . Managing compensation events, early warnings and contractual change. Preparing and managing applications for payment and valuations. Producing monthly CVRs, forecasts and commercial reports . Managing subcontract procurement, appointments and subcontractor accounts. Managing variations, claims and final accounts. NGED Approved Wireman / HV Electrician Substations (UK Wide) We are currently supporting a major infrastructure contractor on a long-term programme of works across the UK, with a focus on substation upgrades and overhead line replacement projects. We are looking to engage an experienced NGED-approved Wireman / HV Electrician who is confident working on substations and able to operate unsupervised . The Role: Installation, wiring and commissioning within HV substation environments Working on infrastructure linked to overhead line replacement projects Carrying out works in line with National Grid / NGED standards Operating as a competent, authorised person on site Working across multiple UK locations (lodging/travel required) Requirements: Proven experience as a Wireman / HV Electrician on substations NGED or National Grid authorisation (or demonstrable equivalent) Experience working at HV levels (e.g. 132kV, 275kV, 400kV) Ability to work unsupervised as a competent person Relevant certifications such as TP137 (desirable) Strong understanding of safety procedures and electrical standards What We re Looking For: Candidates with a strong track record on National Grid or DNO projects Individuals comfortable working nationwide Reliable, self-sufficient engineers who can integrate quickly into project teams Details: Location: UK Wide
