Key Responsibilities: Safely and efficiently operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle to deliver goods as per the assigned routes. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it meets safety standards. Load and unload goods, ensuring they are securely transported and delivered without damage. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, ensuring safe driving practices at all times. Complete delivery paperwork accurately and promptly, maintaining clear communication with the transport office. Provide excellent customer service, representing the company in a professional manner during all deliveries. Assist with any logistical challenges that may arise during deliveries, ensuring timely and efficient solutions. What We're Looking For: A valid HGV Class 2 licence with a clean driving record. A valid Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence). Previous experience as an HGV Class 2 Driver, with a strong understanding of road safety and vehicle maintenance. Good communication skills and the ability to work independently. A positive attitude and strong work ethic, with a commitment to delivering excellent service.
