About the Role: As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in the SEN Department , supporting students across KS3 and KS4 . You will assist students with additional needs both inside and outside the classroom, providing one-to-one support or working with small groups. Key Responsibilities: Provide support to students with additional needs, helping them engage with lessons and access the curriculum. Work alongside teachers and the SENCO to implement individual learning plans for students. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, encouraging students confidence and participation. Support students social, emotional, and academic development, adapting your approach to meet their individual needs. Help manage classroom behaviour positively and constructively to ensure a safe and productive learning environment. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the teaching team to inform future support strategies. What We re Looking For: A genuine passion for working with young people and supporting those with additional needs. Experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is desirable but not essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents. Patience, empathy, and a flexible attitude to meet the needs of students with varying abilities. A proactive and enthusiastic approach to making a difference in students lives.
