Ensure installations are completed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and technical standards. Oversee quality inspections, testing and commissioning readiness. Ensure full compliance with health & safety legislation, company procedures and industry standards. Maintain accurate site records, progress reports and project documentation. Support commissioning activities and the successful handover of the project. About You Degree or trade qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. Proven experience delivering HV substation projects, including AIS and/or GIS installations. Strong understanding of HV primary plant, protection systems and earthing. Previous experience managing site teams, subcontractors and specialist suppliers. Experience working on utility, energy or major infrastructure projects within the UK or Europe. As mechanical construction manager you will report to a mechanical project manager initially leading enabling works before transitioning into the main install phase in Q4 of this year.
