Working Foreman/Supervisor Nr Midhurst, West Sussex Water Sector We are recruiting for a Foreman/Supervisor to work on a new clean water site offering work into 2027. The initial works are involving installation of ductile iron pipe works with some concrete slabs and associated works to follow. To be considered, applicants must put a strong emphasis on site safety and have experience of the safe and timely delivery of civil engineering projects within the water sector. You will be required to oversee a small gang and carry out some aspects of the work too. A background in civil engineering or mechanical engineering would be considered for the role. Duties will include; On Site Supervision of work force Daily briefings, tool box talks and safety briefings Ensuring works are carried to quality and specification. Plant checks, timesheets and permits To be considered applicants must have SSSTS or SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, EUSR Wayter hygiene and CAT And Genny or a HSG47 certifcate would beneficial. CONTRACTS MANAGER SOUTHAMPTON My client is a successful and ambitious contractor, with a very healthy forward order book and they specialise in delivering multi-discipline engineering projects within the water and energy sectors. Their Energy team is now growing, and they are recruiting for a Contracts Manager to work with their team to oversee a portfolio of critical infrastructure projects throughout the UK, predominantly delivering large civil engineering projects within a substation environment. The Contracts Manager will initially oversee a large 40m project in Oxfordshire. The role is based at their Head Office in Southampton but spending some time each week on site. A typical week would likely comprise of 2 days in the office, 2 days on site and 1 day at home.
