Welder / Fabricator Location: West Sussex Hours: Days: Monday to Friday (early finish Friday, 37 hours)Nights: Monday to Thursday, 12-hour shiftsOvertime: Paid at time + after 40 hoursType: Temp-to-Perm The Role We're working with a busy and growing engineering business looking to bring in a Welder / Fabricator to support increased workload. This is a hands-on role working across a mix of materials and components, involving both welding and light fabrication. The work is varied but practical, suited to someone who is confident across MIG and TIG and comfortable working from drawings. Key Responsibilities • MIG and TIG welding across aluminium, stainless steel and mild steel• Light fabrication, including preparation, fitting and clean-up work• Working from engineering drawings to produce accurate components• Carrying out basic finishing and quality checks• Supporting general workshop activities as required• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment What We're Looking For • Experience in both MIG and TIG welding• Ability to work with a range of materials and thicknesses• Confident reading and working from engineering drawings• Hands-on, practical approach with good attention to detail• Reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team Additional Information • Weld coding is beneficial but not essential (on-site testing will be carried out)• Potential for night shift work depending on experience and business needs
