Job Description Job Title Moulding Operative Context Location; Telford Reporting to the Team Leader Responsible for own work (See organisation structure). Job Summary (Overall purpose) To contribute towards the team s production, focusing on internal customer satisfaction. To contribute towards good employment relations (individual and team) . Typical Jobs may include (but not be restricted to) Applying graphics, loading mould tools, loading oven, second shot, loading cooler, removing product and trimming finished product. Routing joint line, inserting face material and creating an appropriate finish. Basic tool, frame and oven maintenance. Removal of scrap and housekeeping. Job Content Ensure customer s delivery dates are met by; Contributing towards meeting the team s production targets and effective individual job times Developing interpersonal integration and effective communication Use of effective production flow techniques Working shifts when required Ensure quality standards are met by; Observance of ISO 9001 procedures Maintaining quality control procedures Following testing procedures to ensure first class quality Contribute to the organisation s success by; Facilitating good employment relations Working flexibly and in any department as required Working within discipline, absence and grievance procedures Contributing towards health and safety policies and procedures Prepare the Works Function for continuing expansion by; Continuous professional development (of self) Contributing towards a continuous change and learning culture Performance Standards To be part of the team achieving the above while contributing towards the morale, motivation and relationships within the team
