My client, a professional and highly regarded law firm in Brighton , is seeking an experienced Legal Cashier to join its friendly and supportive team on a Hybrid basis. My client very much values its employees and offers an excellent environment in which to work as well as flexible Hybrid Working - part office/part remote. The hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm. An excellent salary package is offered between £30k to £35k as well as further employee benefits. PLEASE NOTE THAT CANDIDATES WITHOUT EXPERIENCE AS A LEGAL CASHIER WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. The successful candidate for this position will be familiar with the Solicitors Accounts Rules and will possess sound experience as a Legal Cashier. You should be comfortable working with numbers in a methodical manner. The ideal candidate will possess: • Experience of Accounting processes, bank reconciliations, Residential and Commercial Property completions and the SRA Accounts Rules. • Be a self-confident and adaptable Legal Cashier who can prioritise a diverse workload and work efficiently and accurately under pressure, to tight deadlines. • Be self-motivated, have the ability to multi-task and be able to work on their own initiative as well as within a very supportive team. • Have excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with colleagues and third parties. • Have excellent administrative and IT skills, great attention to detail and be open to working in a paper-lite environment. Due to expansion, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor with 2 to 3 years' experience within Commercial Property to join the team. Candidates with PQE in excess of 3 years are welcome to apply and will also be considered. Equally, candidates with less than 3 years PQE, or experienced Paralegals, will also be considered although sound experience of managing your own commercial property caseload is essential. Experience in Residential Property would also be beneficial although the focus will predominantly be on Commercial Property.
