We are currently recruiting for a growing Insurance Brokers, who are now recruiting for three more people to join them as personal lines brokers on their busy team in their Eastleigh office due to growth. They ae keen to hear from you if you have motor or household insurance experience, gained in sales/broking, customer service or claims. These roles will deal with both existing clients and new business. As a leading insurance provider for clients that have either standard home or motor insurance or non-standard car and home insurance needs, you will need to be confident dealing with high net worth individuals and those that have unusual and often more challenging insurance requirements. Typical clients own super cars including Ferrari s, McLaren and Porsche. They could own kit cars, modified vehicles, motorhomes or classic and vintage vehicles. On a daily basis you will be negotiating and sourcing insurance from the UK s leading insurance providers for clients that may have properties that have previously been flooded, high sum insureds, previous subsidence issues or UK or overseas holiday homes. Whatever your personal goals, you ll find a remarkable level of training and support in reaching them. We are currently working with an ambitious Property investment firm, that are now looking to launch a new Property focused Insurance MGA , and this where you come in! They are looking for a Senior Property Underwriter to join them to head this up, so this represents a truly outstanding opportunity for someone who wants to make their mark in the market, with them offering an equity stake and strong performance related bonuses. They would also consider a team move, so if you have a team you would like to bring, they can accommodate this from day 1. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and working on a business plan to get this business launched. They also need you to work on and agree Capacity providers and creating the internal infrastructure, and then be responsible for onboarding some of your existing broker relationships, developing new ones, and driving underwriting performance, and spearheading the development of their underwriting strategies. You will work closely with the investors to get this business off the ground, and once this is done have the opportunity to build a team. They would also consider someone who can bring a small team with them from the beginning, so if you have a team of underwriters and an assistant underwriters who work with you currently and you would all like to make this exciting jump together, they can facilitate this. This role will need to be based from their South Woodford office at least 2 or 3 days a week with the rest being able to be based from home should you wish. To be considered you will need to be a Senior Property Underwriter (they would also consider a senior commercial underwriter who has strong property exposure within a combined role) Salary on offer is £150-£225,000 depending upon you, the individual and your proposed plan and contacts within the market, with equity stake in the business and performance related bonuses, though if you are looking for a bit more on the salary, please do not rule this out as they are happy to look at tailoring a package to suit. They offer hybrid working (3 days in 2 from home) as well as a structured training and development plan to help you develop your insurance career. You will deal with the development of relationships with new and existing clients to assist with providing a comprehensive commercial insurance service offering. You will be supporting the Client Managers here, providing administrative support, and assisting your manager and team members as needed. WHAT YOU LL DO Support the Client Managers, working closely together to ensure a high level of liaison and understanding of their requirements to maximise client satisfaction. Shadowing during a variety of client meetings. Supporting with the management of portfolios of mid to large motor trade clients. Assisting with completing renewal reviews by phone, obtain renewal terms and help prepare detailed renewal reports in line with Specialist Motor Trade procedures. Provide administrative assistance to complete all documentation associated with placing, amending and renewing client s policies in line with Specialist Motor Trade procedure. As above they would love to speak to you if you have a small amount of insurance broking experience and looking to develop yourself and your career with a growth focused broker. Experience using Acturis would be a bonus but by no means essential. You will also need to be motivated, being able to work on your own Initiative as well as reliable, an empathetic communicator, well presented with a business acumen and a good team player.
