Cityworx are recruiting in partnership with an established healthcare provider delivering specialist community services we are recruiting an experienced CAMHS Nurse Specialist to join the organisation in a Clinical Lead Nurse / Manager capacity. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing nurse-led community services supporting children and young people with complex Level 4 mental health needs. The successful candidate will provide clinical leadership, governance oversight and operational management to ensure services are delivered safely, effectively and in full compliance with regulatory and safeguarding standards. This role is ideal for a confident clinical leader who thrives in autonomous, community-based environments and has a strong understanding of systems, safeguarding and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities Clinical Leadership & Practice Provide senior clinical leadership across CAMHS community services Oversee complex clinical assessments, care planning and risk management Act as the escalation point for high-risk and complex clinical cases Ensure care delivery aligns with evidence-based practice and CAMHS frameworks Mentor and support nursing staff, encouraging reflective practice and professional development Management & Service Oversight Lead, manage and develop multidisciplinary nursing teams working in the community Contribute to workforce planning, supervision and clinical competency development Coordinate complex care packages across multiple locations Work closely with families, commissioners and partner professionals Governance, Quality & Compliance Maintain oversight of regulatory compliance, inspections and internal audits Embed strong clinical governance frameworks, policies and procedures Monitor incidents, safeguarding concerns and complaints, ensuring learning outcomes are implemented Ensure accurate documentation and reporting across clinical systems Operational & Stakeholder Engagement Support service development and continuous improvement initiatives Represent the service in meetings with commissioners and partner agencies Travel regularly to community settings, staff meetings and service reviews Essential Requirements Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with CAMHS experience Significant experience supporting children and young people with complex mental health needs Previous experience in a Clinical Lead, Lead Nurse or Nurse Manager role Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and inspection processes Experience delivering community-based, nurse-led services Excellent safeguarding, risk management and clinical governance knowledge Confident with clinical systems, reporting and audit processes Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle Ability to work autonomously while leading dispersed teams Desirable Experience within supported living, complex care or community mental health services Experience contributing to service development or new care pathways Post-registration leadership or management qualification
