We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Duct Fitter to join a specialist M&E contractor working on a high-spec commercial office fit-out. This project involves the installation of HVAC ductwork throughout multiple floors of a modern office building. You will be expected to work efficiently from mechanical drawings, ensuring all ductwork is installed to specification, within the required timeframes and in accordance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities Install a variety of ductwork systems (rectangular, spiral, and flexible) including ventilation and air extraction systems. Interpret and work from technical drawings, schematics, and job specifications. Fit ducting components including grilles, diffusers, dampers, and fire-rated systems. Coordinate with site managers and other trades to ensure seamless integration with other mechanical services. Carry out installations in a neat and professional manner, ensuring a high-quality finish. Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations at all times. Conduct quality checks and rectify any installation issues. Maintain accurate records of work carried out and materials used. Requirements Proven experience as a Duct Fitter on commercial or large-scale fit-out projects. Skilled in installing both rectangular and spiral ductwork. Ability to read and interpret construction and mechanical drawings. Valid CSCS card (required). Relevant NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds qualification in Ductwork Installation (preferred). IPAF, PASMA, or other relevant site access certifications (desirable). Own tools and PPE. Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and a professional attitude.
