About the Role We are currently recruiting Children s Residential Support Workers to support children and young people within residential settings in the area of Newcastle, Sunderland, and durham. This is a rewarding role where you will play a key part in supporting vulnerable children and young people to feel safe, valued, and empowered. As a support worker, you will work alongside experienced teams within children s residential settings, helping to provide a stable, nurturing, and supportive environment. Your role will involve supporting young people with their daily routines, emotional wellbeing, and personal development. Key Responsibilities Supporting children and young people in residential care settings Promoting a safe, nurturing, and structured environment Assisting with daily routines including activities, education, and appointments Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing Building positive and trusting relationships with young people Working as part of a team to maintain safeguarding and care standards Completing accurate records and reports where required Requirements Minimum 6 months experience working with children or young people in a residential setting (preferred) A passion for supporting vulnerable children and young people Understanding of safeguarding and child protection Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations Strong communication and teamwork skills Right to work in the UK Enhanced DBS on the Update Service Full UK driving licence Physical intervention training What We Offer Competitive hourly pay rates Flexible shifts to suit your availability Weekly pay Ongoing support from dedicated consultants A supportive agency that values child-centred care Apply Today If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young people, we would love to hear from you.
