Off the back of a successful AMP7, the company has secured work on the AMP8 framework with Yorkshire Water running to 2030 at least. A 100m+ turnover contractor with a forward thinking regional team - many of which have come from Tier 1 & Tier 2 backgrounds in the industry and spent many years in the Yorkshire Water sector. Spending time working from their office North of Sheffield, from site and from home - the role will mean travel across Yorkshire as needed. Wide range of projects covering: deep drainage, shaft sinking, large storm tanks, sewer rehabs, pipework, treatment etc. Projects from 500k to 5m in value. Duties/Responsibilities include: Management of multiple projects at all stages Working with in-house Design team & external consultancies Assist Contracts Manager with allocation of staff and sub-contractors Assist with work programmes Leading ECI (Early Contractor Involvement) stages Communicating with commercial team to monitor budgets & costs Issuing early warnings & compensation events Produce relevant documentation for sites Experience required: Candidates must have proven experience at Senior Agent / Project Manager level with a contractor on civil engineering projects of 2m+ Experience managing Water / Heavy Civils projects for a contractor Experience with NEC 3 or NEC 4 contracts is essential Industry related qualification is beneficial (HNC/HND or Degree) Must hold: CSCS and Full Driver's License Remuneration: A salary of up to 62,500 (dependent upon experience) plus: Vehicle (BMW X1 / i4 or equivalent or car allowance) Fuel Annual leave Pension scheme Healthcare And more For more info contact Andy Gray at Elvet Recruitment.

Elvet Recruitment are recruiting for a Freelance Civil Site Engineer on behalf of a reputable civil engineering / groundworks contractor to work on a new upcoming project near Knottingley. The contractor are delivering a £10m infrastructure / civils package for new build steel frame commercial sheds. Work including: foundations, slabs, bolt boxes, s278, s38, drainage, roads & sewers, paving, kerbing etc. Ongoing work for 12 months plus possible further phases. The Engineer will be picking this project up from the very outset. Duties: Setting out - using relevant kit Checking of work completed on site As-builts & surveys QA Supervising gangs and workforce Assisting Site Manager Updating documentation for site Experience required: Must have proven experience as Site Engineer within groundworks / civils Must be confident with both setting out and QA Must have experience with kit: Leica Total Station 16 Robotics (or similar) Industry related qualification is beneficial (HNC/HND or Degree) Must hold: CSCS card and full driving license Pay: A rate of up to £350 per day (doe). Duties/Responsibilities: Full management of site, reporting to and liaising with a Contracts Manager & Construction Director. Leading projects from early site setup through to handover. Ensure programmes are reviewed and updated. Completing daily site diaries. Ordering materials for site. Ensure RAMS are written and updated. Progress meetings with senior management and client. Overseeing direct delivery teams and sub-contractors. Experience required: Must have: Experience working as Site Agent or Site Manager. Experience managing projects from cradle to grave. Detailed experience with: Roads, Sewers, S278 works, Foundations, Kerbing and Drainage SMSTS, Temporary Works, Appointed Person, First Aid.
