About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Manager to lead a team of qualified electricians working across a portfolio of social housing properties. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of a team of electricians Ensure all electrical works (repairs, maintenance, testing, and installations) are completed in accordance with current regulations and standards (BS 7671) Conduct regular quality checks and audits to maintain compliance and workmanship standards Manage workloads, schedules, and resources effectively Provide technical guidance and support to the team Liaise with tenants, housing officers, and contractors to ensure smooth operations Maintain health and safety standards and ensure risk assessments and method statements are in place Assist with planning, budgeting, and reporting for electrical projects Requirements: HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification (NVQ Level 4 or similar. Proven experience in managing or supervising electricians, ideally within a social housing or property maintenance environment Excellent knowledge of electrical systems, testing, and inspection procedures Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills Full UK driving licence Desirable: NICEIC Qualified Supervisor status or equivalent 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations certification Experience with asset management software and scheduling systems

We are recruiting for a compliance specialist to lead on property compliance. Including the following areas- Fire Safety Compliance: Oversee and monitor fire risk assessments, ensuring timely completion and remedial action tracking. Liaise with contractors and internal teams to ensure fire safety systems (alarms, extinguishers, emergency lighting) are maintained in line with statutory requirements. Stay up to date with relevant legislation, including the Fire Safety Act and Building Safety Act. Cyclical Electrics: Manage the periodic inspection and testing of electrical installations (EICRs), ensuring full certification and compliance. Review electrical reports, prioritise actions, and work with maintenance teams to resolve issues. LOLER Compliance: Coordinate inspections and servicing of lifting equipment, including stair lifts, hoists, and passenger lifts. Maintain accurate records and ensure defects are rectified within required time frames. Work with lift service providers to ensure contracts meet LOLER requirements. Develop and maintain robust compliance reporting systems. Support audits, both internal and external, ensuring full transparency and accuracy of compliance data. Provide expert advice to colleagues and stakeholders regarding safety obligations and best practices. You will : Plan and coordinate repairs & maintenance work to deliver work according to cost, time, and quality standards. Includes scheduling workflow and allocating resources, whilst ensuring accurate records, notes and system updates are well maintained. Undertake building and technical surveys to determine the building condition and identify defects and associated risks. As an Interim project manager , you will lead the final stages of this project and the successful handover to operational teams that will sustain changes and continue to deliver the intended benefits through to September 2025. At the same time we are anticipating a review that is likely to lead to further recommendation that will need to be shaped in to a new project to continue improvements in this area. The appointed project manager will help to shape this work, leading to a potential contract extension to deliver the recommended changes. Remote working is an option, however candidates will need to attend meetings on site and in Bristol on occasion. They will need to be in the office for the first day at least. Manage and support a small team of surveyors and technical officers. Conduct condition surveys and prepare specifications, schedules of work, and cost estimates. Procure and manage contracts using JCT or similar frameworks. Oversee contractors on site, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with statutory and quality standards. Work collaboratively with residents, internal teams, and external stakeholders. Provide technical advice and input into asset management strategies and investment planning. This is a hybrid role offering excellent working conditions and for a contract duration of circa 3 months initially.
