DEAFINITELY THEATRE

We are seeking an experienced and collaborative General Manager to join our senior leadership team. Deafinitely Theatre is the UK's first deaf-launched and deaf-led professional theatre company, working bilingually in British Sign Language (BSL) and spoken English. We create high-quality theatre for deaf and hearing audiences, tour nationally and support the next generation of deaf artists through our youth and training programmes. This is a key role within the organisation, leading on the operational management of the company and supporting the delivery of our ambitious programme of deaf-led theatre. Working closely with the Executive Director and Artistic Director, you will play a central role in ensuring the organisation runs smoothly and strategically. We're particularly interested in candidates who have: Senior management experience in arts or similar sector Strong financial and organisational skills Experience of strategic planning and delivery Knowledge of theatre production and/or touring Commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion BSL Level 3 (or equivalent) or higher Further information can be found in the job description in our recruitment pack.
