What you'll do Drive the Data Centre & Hybrid value proposition into our enterprise customers from a leadership level Help qualify, construct and close high complexity technology and professional services deals with some of the world's largest customers Support, coach and develop a high performing sales team - including a range of skillsets from Graduates through to 20+ year sales experts Work with our strategic vendor partnerships to identiy new opportunities for partnering Build lasting relationships with key stakeholders at identified customers Understand and be an expert internally for our core Data Centre & Hybrid go to market propositions and advocate for these amongst the sales community Support the growth of the Data Centre & Hybrid Solution Area and delivery against its sales targets Support the Solution Area Director with the strategy of the team Represent Computacenter at NetApp partner boards and forums, attend relevant events and conferences and act as a point of technical escalation within the business, ensure that this knowledge is shared across the business. Ensure Technical leaders are following standards and processes. Work with the technical teams to ensure they are focused on efficient delivery of technical services inside and outside of contractual requirements. Highlight Managed Service technical risks so that any Computacenter exposure to commercial loss can be minimized. Undertake knowledge transfer of the client environment to Managed Service Technical Service teams. Attend Customer opportunity/strategy meetings. Aware of new emerging technologies and Industry trends and how they might benefit the client and technical Service provision. What you'll need 10+ years of IT experience - technical solutions experience and Managed Services. Broad understanding of the IT Services Market, technical trends, and competition. Excellent understanding of Computacenter market strategy and Services portfolio as well as in-depth understanding of end-to-end infrastructure managed services, ideally with a shared services component. Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to present at large internal and external audiences. Proven ability to build relationships and communicate effectively at all levels and to influence sales team and customer through sound and well-structured thought processes supported where necessary with articulate and concise written work. Experience of sales processes including bidding, deal structures, negotiation, and closures. Understanding of contracts and service contract structures for clients and external partners. Good working knowledge of relevant commercial tools and systems e.g., cost & pricing tools, maintenance & logistics, resource planning, and project planning. Ability to analyze situations and make decisions based on limited information and prioritize effectively. Ability to work under pressure and to prioritize own workload.
