You enjoy helping others to visit the centre and stay active, making the most of the facilities available, and have a passion for fitness. As our next Group Exercise Instructor, you'll be instrumental in delivering an excellent service to our customers each & every day. Ideally you will be qualified in delivering a range of classes to customers in an energetic, enthusiastic and professional manner. You will be given a regular pattern of working hours and shifts and the opportunity to progress via one of our fabulous training opportunities. The Key Requirements You will be qualified to deliver Group Exercise Classes - preferably with Level 2 Exercise to Music (ETM)/Certificate in Teaching Group Exercise to Music (Freestyle) as a base-qualification You will preferably have experience in the fitness industry, delivering Group Exercise Classes Motivating, enthusiastic and dynamic personality, with good oral communication and interaction skills - able to engage customers of all ages, levels and abilities Adept at modifying and delivering exercise for customers with varying fitness levels, needs and health conditions/disabilities Flexible approach to working hours including days, evenings, weekends and bank holidays. Disciplines required: Zumba, Indoor Cycling, Pilates, Yoga, Step, Aqua Aerobics, Boot Camp, Kettlebells, Legs, Bums & Tums, Pump Fusion, Cardio Kickbox/Fight, Tai Chi, Poundfit, Aerobics, Older Adults, Kids Fit, Les Mills programmes. Be able to educate our customers on various aspects of fitness relating to the classes you deliver and lead them through a preplanned class with enthusiasm and encouragement. You will plan your activities and deliver a great session to individuals and groups. All the time you will be helping others to be active, with the support of our sector leading training and induction programme. Create positive first impressions and to develop rapport with customers through excellent communication skills. Gain and act on feedback to enhance the customer experience. Ability to communicate with clients about their progress, supporting them to realise their achievements and results. Plan a safe and effective group exercise programme for a range of clients, using appropriate equipment and methods. Monitor and review the effectiveness of the group exercise programme to ensure it is engaging, varied and progressive to clients' needs and goals, whilst following the principles of training. Deliver safe and effective group exercise. Correctly demonstrate a range of cardiovascular, resistance, functional, flexibility and mobility exercises. Supervise technique to ensure safety and effectiveness. Inspire participants, injecting personality and a degree of showpersonship to each and every session. Can be flexible. As a Lifeguard you are calm and confident, potentially you could save a life, and you will help keep people safe. You will need to feel comfortable being in control of the pool and challenging inappropriate behaviour. You're not the type to panic under pressure and compromise the safety of others. The role isn't Baywatch, you don't just sit and watch. You can perform a rescue, deliver first aid, and have difficult conversations with customers who are not acting safely, we will give you the skills and qualifications to be able to do this. You're looking for the chance to progress and work to a regular rota pattern. As our next Lifeguard you'll provide safe supervision of customers in poolside locations. You will keep people safe, ultimately you are responsible for preventing serious injuries or accidents. The Key Requirements National Pool Lifeguard Qualified or have the ability to pass the course Joining Halo Leisure there is an opportunity to become a swimming teacher, duty manager or a trainer and there is regular ongoing training to keep your skills refreshed.
