The Role Supporting the Site Manager and wider operational team, you'll play a key role in delivering a large-scale roofing replacement programme within occupied social housing properties. You'll help ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards, while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction and resident experience. Key responsibilities include: Supporting the day-to-day management of roofing refurbishment works across multiple sites. Monitoring site performance, quality standards and programme delivery. Conducting regular site inspections and ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements. Coordinating subcontractors and trade teams. Resolving technical and operational issues promptly and effectively. Building positive relationships with residents, clients and stakeholders. Ensuring works are completed in line with company procedures, ISO standards and customer service expectations. Promoting Lovell's Service First culture and commitment to excellence. About You We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering first-class results. Permanent Full Time (40 hours per week) An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our expanding Refurbishment business based in Nottingham. Working closely with and reporting to the Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will deliver a wide range of multi-scope projects being involved in all stages of project delivery offering you strong opportunities for development. Your responsibilities will include ensuring projects are delivered to target margins, managing contractual processes, issuing notices, maintaining accurate records, and preparing and negotiating interim valuations and final accounts. You will take ownership of the variation account, conduct site visits to monitor subcontractor activity and support payment processes, and work collaboratively with site teams and clients to drive successful outcomes. Building and maintaining strong working relationships with customers, consultants, subcontractors, and colleagues across the Regeneration division will be central to your success. We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor who ideally hold a relevant formal qualification, with proven quantity surveying experience within the construction sector and familiarity with NHF SOR. You will be client-focused, with strong decision-making abilities and excellent communication skills. The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively to tight deadlines is essential. To succeed in this role, you will bring strong numeracy, literacy and IT skills, along with a collaborative approach and the confidence to contribute within a high-performing team. A full Driving Licence is also essential.
