What you will do You will develop your existing relationships and initiate new ones, with business and investment leaders within Wealth Managers and Advisory Firms across the south of the UK. Lead prospective clients through the buying journey to engage SEI as their strategic asset management partner. Systematically qualify and nurture your panel to build and develop a strong pipeline of new business opportunities. Working in collaboration with other business areas (investment management unit, marketing, solutions, compliance, strategic accounts) you then will co-manufacture investment management business propositions with your new strategic partner. The SWP Change Team (UK) is accountable for the success of all implementation and conversion activities within the SEI (UK) Private Banking Wealth Platform Business. The SWP Change team provides standardised project management, consulting, queue management, project execution, specialised product support (SMEs), and communication to the client firm and SEI organisations.The Senior BA will be responsible for leading specific projects and/or key workstreams in larger programmes. This will often require working with a cross section of stakeholders (internally & externally). SEI is seeking to hire an experienced Custody Manager to lead our external custody segment across multiple clients. You will hold a key role managing the day-to-day activities of assigned team members as well oversight of leveraged teams. You will monitor the end to end life cycle from onboarding, set up, third party access (portals/SWIFT) through to trade flows and ensure timely execution of client trades as well as provide fast and complete resolution to any trade related issues. What you will do: Responsibilities to include, but are not limited to: Client onboarding (CASS mandates, portal access, SWIFT set up etc) End to end oversight of operation functions across your direct team and leveraging multiple operations teams Understanding the Clients, Customers and the usage of the accounts as well as the custodians utilised Trade Execution and settlement (Mutual funds, Equities, ETF, Debt, ETD etc) Hedge Fund Experience - account opening and processing Managing the team and working closely with the operations managers, client service and relationship management team Manage workflow queues to complete all items by internal and external cut off times. Process ongoing account maintenance using internal proprietary systems to process monetary and nonmonetary transactions on client accounts to deadline and SLA's. Ensure accurate client administration processing and provide value added servicing including the escalation of client related issues MI production Participate in client facing meetings and presentations Staff reviews and appraisals To ensure a high standard of service is provided at all times in order to maximise the client experience. Internal / external clients: Liaise with operating and business units as required to resolve processing problems as they arise Cultivate and maintain close external clients' relationships Build and maintain relationships with agents, brokers and custodians to ensure SLA/KPI are being consistently met Liaise with Solutions and development teams to ensure scalability and risk reduction opportunities are maximised. Some experience within financial services, private banking, mutual funds and investment advisory is preferred as is industry knowledge of private banking, asset management and investment processing. Strong understanding of custody processes within wealth management coupled with the ability to identify workflow inefficiencies and deliver solutions to correct them. The First Line Risk and Resilience team will perform an important role in the "first line of defence", acting as risk champions and operating in conjunction with the UK Risk function and wider Enterprise Risk Management function. The team supports the monitoring, analysis and escalation of risks and risk events and will also implement additional service & management controls across the UK Private Banking unit. This role is responsible for the preparation and monitoring of Risk and Control Self-Assessments ("RCSA"), key control testing and action remediation, monitoring of managerial control functions, the identification of operational risk trends, root cause analysis of operational risk events and other risk projects.
