Driver Support Services are recruiting for a Fuel Tanker Driver to work for our client in the location of West London. The role is currently 5 out of 7 or 4 out of 7 on AM shifts (04:00/05:00 starts) and PM shifts (16:00/17:00 starts) on a rota basis, both are required. This position would be potentially temp to perm for the right candidate. The role is of a fuel tanker driver to work on an on-going contract. Successful candidates upon completion of an assessment and interview would be required to load and deliver various hazardous products in line with delivery instructions, adhering to all H, S & E standard and regulations. The Petroleum Driver Passport will be given during training. You will primarily be transporting fuel to customer forecourts. What we require: Class 1 driving license held for a minimum of 2 year ADR in Class 3 tanks Must hold valid CPC and digital tacho-card Strong communication and customer service skills What we offer: Competitive hourly rate on PAYE of 24.76 per hour or Umbrella pay 27ph per hour, guaranteed 10 hours. Waste Operative 4 WEEKS 13.47 Waste Operative will undertake a range of duties required to operate the Waste Management Facility. He/she has responsibility, both individually and as a member of a team, for the operation of a waste disposal location, landfill site, transfer site or treatment site. To cover a selection of duties within the Waste Services team in providing a high quality waste and recycling collection service. The role includes but is not limited to the safe emptying of wheeled bins, the manual handling of large waste items from households / commercial premises, delivery of waste containers and assisting in the waste management at Events and Festivals (weekdays / weekends). Recording and reporting recycling contamination and effectively communicate to customers the correct way to recycle. The role is predominately working outside throughout the seasons in a variety of weather patterns. Duties also include when required winter maintenance; the manual gritting / snow clearance from footpaths. You will be a strong team player, who has a flexible approach, with a good safety ethos and a can do attitude, who can work in a demanding service, and be able to work with the public to resolve issues. Premises Manager 21.65 per hour 37 hours per week 3 Months Contract Premises Manager Arrange for required works in relation to general premises maintenance (i.e. door and roofing repairs). Undertake and record accurately weekly and monthly checks on fire alarms, emergency lighting, fire exits, office torches and also the testing of fire extinguishers etc. Organisation and co-ordination of emergency planning activity (such as fire drills) and liaising with Council colleagues in relation to business continuity where appropriate. Premises Manager willLiaise with colleagues in relation to the management of asbestos and legionella in Port premises and the maintenance of associated logbooks and registers.
