A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Harlow is looking to appoint a dedicated 1:1 Autism Support Assistant to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis starting immediately . About the Role In this role, you will provide consistent 1:1 support for a child with autism, helping them access learning, manage routines, and feel confident in the classroom. You will work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider support team to deliver tailored strategies that meet the child s individual needs. Building a strong, trusting relationship will be key, as you support the pupil in developing communication skills, emotional regulation, and independence.
