Duties and Responsibilities Support line Management in day-to-day management reporting activities Assist in the production of monthly reporting, including balance sheet reconciliations, the Executive Committee report and Department Reports Assist in the monthly expense and income forecasting and annual budgeting and business plan process. Business partner through regular performance meetings with Front and Back offices in terms of understanding their expense results and identifying opportunities for savings. Analyse expense and income trends and provide comments on comparison against budget, forecast and prior periods. Have a thorough understanding of a multi-departmental entity and cost allocation model. Ensure design and maintenance of various Finance systems are fit for purpose, be proactive and work with IT functions for any required enhancements and ensure data integrity is maintained at all times. Provide support and cover for the rest of the Management Accounting team as required. Support any adhoc requests Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (Masters degree or any Professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA/CIMA would be desirable) Great organisational and time management skills Excellent communication skills Strong numerical and analytical skills Demonstrable ability to innovate, support change and problem solve Strong team player, proactive attitude with ability to work on own initiative Good understanding of the Banking Industry and experience in budgeting and forecasting is highly desirable High level of computer literacy and skills in data manipulation / presentation, experience inusing Oracle Hyperion as well as strong MS Excel skills are highly desirable Randstad Financial & Professional encourage applications from individuals of all ages & backgrounds. We are partnering with a multinational manufacturer of confectionery in their search for a Corporate Tax Accountant. This is a 12 month temporary role (with scope for extension) based in Slough offering hybrid working (2 days in the office) and a day rate up to £250 per day PAYE for the right candidate. As the Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for: Preparation of tax computations/returns. Assist in the preparation of internal tax reporting and reconciliations for US head office. Support preparation of UK Legal entity financial statements tax reporting. Support the Tax Manager with tax reporting such as Transfer Pricing, CFC, Hybrids and DPT analysis. Assist with the in-sourcing of tax returns from external advisor. Support the Tax Manager to integrate new business acquisitions into UK tax centre. The right candidate will have: Strong UK corporate tax technical knowledge is essential . Experience with transfer pricing, direct tax compliance and computations is essential.
