We are looking for a Maintenance Manager to join a growing manufacturing business in North Tyneside The role involves managing a busy maintenance team and taking responsibility for overseeing all maintenance activities within the company. As a Maintenance Manager your responsibilities will include Plan, prepare and manage the site maintenance department and subcontractors Lead and contribute to recommendations for improvements using tools such as SMED, MTBF, MTTF and TPM to improve and drive gains in the department. KEY SKILLS The successful candidate will need to be HNC or HND qualified in an Engineering subject and be experienced at leading maintenance activities within a fast-paced process-based manufacturing environment, You will need a high degree of self-motivation and personal resilience, be a strong communicator and be familiar with computerised maintenance management systems and MS Office You will need to be able to demonstrate a strong working knowledge of maintenance activities, PPM/TPM, team leadership, the engineering function and health and safety. strong analytical, organisational & problem-solving skills and be able to drive forward improvements in the maintenance department.
