Working alongside a Divisional Managing Director and reporting to the Group CFO, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities for the organisation's largest and most aspirational division. Managing a large diverse team across several locations and geographies, you will ensure the financial health and sustainability of the organisation and to continue the divisions high growth trajectory. The Divisional Finance Director will serve as a key member of the organisation's leadership committee, driving initiatives in financial transformation and optimisation of processes. Commercial business partnering will be a key element of the role, working across stakeholder groups to drive strategic financial decisions, optimising resource allocation, and enhancing overall business performance. The successful Divisional Finance Director will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA or equivalent) with proven experience as a senior finance leader. You will have excellent communication skills, a proactive and solution-oriented mindset and a natural interest in transformation and technology. SF Executive are partnered with a West Midlands based, private equity backed industrial services business who are seeking a Financial Controller. Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a critical role in the development of the business as it continues to scale. It provides a motivated individual with an ideal opportunity to grow with the business during its next phase as well as providing exposure to the private equity environment. The Financial Controller will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the financial control environment including all finance operational processes and development of business systems. The key responsibilities for this position include: • Finance and operational systems • Treasury/ cash management • Cash forecasting • Billing/ credit control/ purchase ledger • Integration of new acquisitions • Governance • Maintaining a clean audit report • Supporting commercial teams on margin improvement plans The successful Financial Controller will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ ACCA/ ACMA or equivalent) with a minimum of 2 years' operating at this level. You will be an ambitious character who is keen to learn from an experienced CFO and develop their skillset towards becoming a Finance Director.

SF Executive are working with a private equity backed media services business based in Manchester. The business is around £10M turnover, and growing fast whilst also delivering healthy profits. Without seeking to be clichéd, the role will be a true business partner to The Board and will sit shoulder to shoulder with a hugely engaging CEO as the business continues to grow and potentially go through some kind of equity transaction in the next three years. Given all of the above, we are looking for a confident, communicative and resilient CFO who has already operated in a standalone role and ideally has led an exit transaction for investors / private shareholders. Given this business is both less than 10 years old, and its size, we are looking for a CFO who can be equally as comfortable leading strategy, potential M&A activities and working with the board of directors, as they are with working in a small finance team, and getting hands on with the day to day critical finance work. A modern, forward thinking organisation, the majority of the team are out in the field most days but fully engaged in growing and developing the business - as such you'll likely be based in Manchester or within reasonable commuting distance with 3 days a week in the office. This is a big role within an organisation where you'll be continually challenged - but you'll have some fun along the way.
