Operating across multiple sectors throughout the UK, the company continues to grow and is now looking to strengthen its CAD team by bringing on a CAD Technician on a fully remote basis. This permanent position will involve working closely with experienced surveyors, CAD technicians, and project managers, supporting the production and processing of survey drawings across a variety of projects, including topographical surveys, utility surveys, measured building surveys, monitoring surveys, and site modelling, producing accurate deliverables in AutoCAD and other industry-standard formats on a remote basis. Responsibility & Duties Assist in the production of the final AutoCAD drawing files produced from undertaking surveys on site by the Surveyors for the CAD Technician Working on topographical surveys, measured building surveys, and AutoCAD Drawings Create detailed technical drawings and plans based on project requirements. Review and modify existing drawings as necessary for the CAD Technician Ensure drawings are accurate and meet industry standards. Experience & Qualification 3+ Years experience using Autodesk AutoCAD for the production of a variety of survey deliverables by the CAD Technician Revit BIM Experience Advantageous Knowledge of N4CE processing software would be advantageous Knowledge of the survey industry, including various land & utility surveying processes. High quality and discipline with all surveying methods, data management and deliverables Ability to use your initiative, problem solve and work to deadlines. Revit MEP Co-ordinator Permanent Location Birmingham Salary Negotiable depending on experience. A fantastic opportunity has arisen for one of my clients based in the West Midlands. They are the most technically advanced Mechanical and Electrical Design and MEP Build Contractors in the UK. Operating from our offices in Birmingham, they directly employ our own Project and Site Managers, Design and Contract Engineers, CAD Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, Site Operatives, and Administrative Personnel to give our clients continuity of service from the first estimate to the final delivery. Due to expansion, they are now looking for an experienced Revit MEP Coordinator to join their team with the opportunity of hybrid working to be based either in their Nottingham, Newark office. The ideal candidate will have experience with modelling MEP services using Revit in a building services environment as the Revit MEP Coordinator.
