The Role You will be responsible for maximising sales opportunities by generating quality leads in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements ensuring that specified targets and results are met in terms of quantity and quality. To maintain and update information on database(s) accurately and consistently.Main responsibilities will include making outbound telephone calls to target audiences in a professional and polite manner including cold calling and list cleansing, ensure targets are met and recorded, produce and maintain diaries, chasing for outstanding information from clients and maintain secure, efficient and accurate filing systems.An aspect of inbound commercial sales also required, inbound leads are generated through third party opportunity's so support the outbound executives. The Role: We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Commercial Insurance Claims Handler to join our Claims Specialty Team based in Birmingham. This role is very customer focussed, requiring you to provide an excellent claims service to our clients. Your proven claims handling experience within all classes of commercial claims will allow you to ensure professional and efficient management of all claims from cradle to grave, dealing with these classes of business and presenting claims MI. This role would suit a person who is keen to progress within insurance (who is either CII qualified or working towards), is a natural multi-tasker and well versed in motor, property and liability insurance claims handling. You will put the customer at the heart of everything you do, utilising know your customer (KYC) and treating customers fairly (TCF) methodologies, handling claims in line with compliance, FCA regulations and business policies & procedures.As the business goes through a period of growth, there will be plenty of opportunities to get involved in other exciting projects. Ensure clients are appraised of updates regarding political, regulatory and market changes that may impact them and their business. Reviewing the adequacy of covers and suitability of the terms being offered to clients, Liaising with relevant departments, to ensure all queries are resolved quickly and efficiently Experience: Essential:- Minimum 5 GCSE, Grades A-C including English and Maths. Experience of working within the UK insurance market and and a good understanding of the role of regulation and compliance. Real Estate experience is desirable; However we will also look at candidates with experience within General Commercial classes of business. Client service and administrative experience, adhering to processes and systems with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, to support client service delivery. Previously worked within a team servicing both clients and colleagues whilst also possessing excellent negotiating skills. Organised with good time management skills working to agreed priorities. Good communication skills to effectively liaise with internal colleagues. Computer literate with good experience of using MS Office Suite.
