Headline Lead key discounter accounts for a high?impact homecare portfolio The opportunity Join a fast?moving household and cleaning products business as a National Account Manager, owning some of the most influential value and club retail customers in the UK. You will shape how a broad homecare portfolio shows up in?store and online, driving profitable growth through sharp commercial planning and strong customer partnerships. This suits someone who thrives in a fast?paced, complex, matrix?style organisation, leads from the front, takes ownership and delivers results, and is comfortable in a hectic and sometimes ambiguous environment.? What you'll do Take full P&L ownership for a defined set of discounter and value retail accounts, delivering net revenue, profit and investment targets.? Build and execute customer?specific plans that balance product mix, pricing, promotion and distribution to outperform the market.? Lead joint planning with buyers and commercial teams, agreeing annual and in?year initiatives, including JVP/JBP style ways of working.? Use data, insight and commercial modelling to size opportunities, challenge assumptions and close performance gaps.? Develop and maintain strong relationships across your customers' trading, planning and supply teams, as well as key internal stakeholders.? Partner closely with category, marketing, finance and supply chain to ensure plans are realistic, profitable and executed with excellence.? What you'll bring Degree?calibre background with solid FMCG sales/account management experience, ideally at national account level.? Proven track record of managing a full P&L and consistently delivering against commercial targets on your accounts.? Strong financial and analytical skills, comfortable building business cases and commercial models to support recommendations.? Experience working with discounter, value or club retail channels; direct exposure to Costco or similar formats would be a strong advantage.? Ability to craft and land compelling customer plans, influence at multiple levels and collaborate effectively across functions.? Core strengths in key account management, negotiation, customer planning, category and shopper thinking, and cross?functional teamwork.? No sponsorship or relocation offered.
