Job Description Title : Commercial Catering & Refrigeration Engineer Reports to : Service Manager Location : We have offices in both Inverness and Elgin with travel throughout Grampian, Moray, Perthshire, Highlands & Islands The Company We are specialists in commercial catering sales, installations and repairs. We have a large range of clients including hotels, restaurants, education, healthcare, and public sector contracts. We cover all areas of equipment, cooking, refrigeration, ware washing, ventilation and extraction. Role Requirements The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision and also as part of a wider team. Carry out planned preventative maintenance & servicing on all commercial catering & refrigeration equipment. Carry out fault diagnosis and repairs where required Be available to carry out necessary works outside normal hours from time to time with additional remuneration Skill and experience Fault finding, servicing of commercial catering equipment Good organisational skills & an ability to work under pressure Teamwork Customer focused Qualifications Full UK Driving Licence COMCAT 1,3 & 5 FGAS desirable

Role Overview: As a Senior refrigeration Engineer, you are responsible for ensuring that refrigeration systems are Serviced & Maintained correctly which include heavy commercial and Industrial systems (CO2, Freon, and Chilled water applications - Ammonia experience advantageous, but not essential) You will be working closely with the Service admin team, Service Supervisors, and other senior service engineers to ensure that the refrigeration systems meet the required specifications and standard for our clients. You will need to make sure clients systems are running to their optimum condition to meet site operating requirements, always ensuring safe systems of work. Skills & Experience Required: Relevant qualifications: City & Guilds Refrigerant handling 2079, CO2 (Ammonia would be advantageous but not essential) Proven experience in large commercial, or industrial refrigeration Previous experience in a senior role Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Minimum 5 years relevant experience Thorough understanding of electrical controls Up to date knowledge of COSHH regulations What we offer in return: A competitive Salary £55k - £60k negotiable dependant on skills and experience (based on 40hrs per week) Full time, permanent contract Overtime Standby fee (£225.00 per week) 33 days holiday (inclusive of annual, bank/public days) Benefits Life insurance Company pension Private medical insurance

We are currently seeking a Multiskilled Fire and Security Engineer to join our expanding team in the West Midlands region. The ideal candidate will have experience in the installation, service, and maintenance of fire alarm systems, CCTV, intruder alarms, access control, and emergency lighting. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for fire and security technology and the drive to deliver exceptional service. Key Responsibilities: Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain fire and security systems, including fire alarms, CCTV, intruder alarms, access control systems, emergency lighting, and associated equipment. Perform fault finding, repairs, and servicing on a range of fire and security systems. Customer Service: Provide high-quality customer service, ensuring all work is completed to industry standards and in line with customer requirements. Carry out risk assessments and surveys to ensure system compliance and customer satisfaction. Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all installations and maintenance are compliant with relevant British Standards and industry regulations (e.g., BS 5839, BS 6266, NSI, BAFE). Complete accurate service reports, installation records, and certification as required. Call-Outs & Emergency Response: Participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota, providing emergency support and repairs when necessary. Training & Development: Keep up to date with the latest technologies and industry trends. Attend training sessions as required to ensure continued professional development. Required Skills and Qualifications: Experience: Proven experience working as a Fire and Security Engineer, with a strong background in the installation and maintenance of fire alarm systems, CCTV, intruder alarms, access control, and emergency lighting. Experience working with a wide range of fire and security systems, including both wired and wireless technologies. Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of relevant standards and regulations (e.g., BS 5839, BS 6266, NSI, BAFE). Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills. Certifications: FIA (Fire Industry Association) qualifications, or equivalent, desirable. Relevant CSCS or ECS card. Full UK driving license. Skills: Excellent communication and customer-facing skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
