Salaried GP - Nightingale Surgery, SE13 5PJ Application Deadline: 31 October 2025 Department: GPs Employment Type: Full Time Location: Nightingale Surgery Description The role of a Salaried GP is to work with our team to deliver high-quality primary care to our patients. Salaried GPs report to their site Lead GP. Locations available: Insert sites here Hours: Ideally 6-8 sessions, flexible for more or fewer sessions as needed. Salary: £11,500 per session (see details below). Key Responsibilities Salaried GPs will see patients, collaborate with our multidisciplinary team, and perform the usual duties of a GP in primary care. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise GMC registered with a license to practice Registered on the NHS performers list Proficient with EMIS and clinical tools like T-Quest, Pathlinks Strong communication and interpersonal skills Flexible team player focused on patient outcomes Organized, balancing speed and accuracy High clinical effectiveness; experience with AHPs is desirable Committed to delivering high-quality patient care Benefits Support from a broad team of AHPs including nurses, paramedics, pharmacists, mental health nurses, and international medical graduates This team reduces workload through minimal on-call duties, fewer home visits, fewer minor illnesses, support with complex mental health cases, lower repeat prescription workload, and less admin work Doctors typically leave on time Each site has a dedicated Lead GP and two Clinical Leads for support and development Many sites are training practices; opportunities to become a trainer and participate in GP mentorship programs Strong team camaraderie and social activities like art classes, self-care, bake-offs, and more Monthly protected learning time Robust back-office support from HR, IT, Data, and Complaints teams Option to work from home where practical Opportunities for future leadership roles
