Access Control Engineer Duties: Perform installations including the integration of access control systems (e.g. Paxton,Hikvision, Intratone) Dis-connect and re-connects of door installations. Service and install a range of door entry, warden call, automatic door / gate systems, CCTV systems (including IP/networked), and intruder alarms. Carry out planned preventative maintenance to the above systems. Pre installation site surveys to assess cable routes etc. Visiting client locations and informing them of the functionality, care, and upkeep of their new installations. Access Control Engineer Requirements: An accreditation with ADSA, CAMEsafe, Tynetec CAI or equivalent. Overview of different electronic locks, interlock and fob systems.
