Health and Safety Advisor required to join a construction company, specialising in Groundworks and RC Frames, to provide expert Health and Safety guidance and support to project teams across Glasgow and occasionally Edinburgh. Your Health and Safety Advisor duties will include: Assisting in fulfilling Health and Safety responsibilities to maintain Health and Safety policies and procedures. Conducting audits and inspections to identify gaps and promote best practice and drive standards and performance. Assisting in the investigation of accidents, incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions by documenting findings, identifying root causes and ensuring corrective actions are implemented to prevent future occurrences. This Health and Safety Advisor role salary is £45,000-£55,000 plus car allowance.

Junior CDM/Principal Designer required to join a multi-disciplinary construction consultancy. The role will involve supporting the Principal Designer across a range of construction projects, ensuring compliance with CDM regulations and contributing to safe and efficient project delivery. The role of Junior CDM/Principal Designer : Assist the Principal Designer in coordinating design and project information to ensure CDM compliance. The Junior CDM/Principal Designer role is paying £30k-£35k plus provides ongoing professional development and structured training to support career progression.

Fire Officer required to support the delivery of effective fire safety management across a portfolio of facilities, including high-risk nuclear sites. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with fire safety legislation, promoting fire safety awareness and maintaining robust fire prevention and emergency response arrangements. The Fire Officer role involves regular travel across the Midlands and North West, with occasional travel outside the region as required. Fire Officer role includes: Developing and maintaining fire safety policies and procedures in line with UK legislation and nuclear sector regulations. Conducting fire risk assessments and managing and reducing risks within defined timeframes. Overseeing fire detection and suppression systems, ensuring regular maintenance and compliance. Delivering fire safety training, drills and emergency evacuation exercises. Liaising with internal teams, contractors and external regulators on fire safety matters. Experience Experience in fire safety within facilities management and/or high-risk environments. This Fire Officer role has a salary of £50,000-£60,000 plus car allowance, pension and healthcare.

CDM Health and Safety Consultant required to join a well-established, national dedicated Construction Health, Safety and CDM Consultancy. You will join an established, growing team, delivering the Principal Designer role, providing CDM advice for clients and providing construction safety advice for contractors on a variety of challenging and interesting construction projects, predominantly across the the South East region. CDM Health and Safety Consultant duties include: Health and safety assurance services to clients and projects; Early Engagement with Stakeholders. Briefings in Best Practice. Safety Management Procedures - ensure works adhere to Client health and safety management procedures (asbestos etc), best practice and safety regulations. RAMS review and approval. Advise on health and safety competence of supply chain, Site walk around/inspections/audits - to monitor various construction work projects. Review and providing inductions. Dealing with day-to-day contractor health and safety matters, interfaces, permit issues, etc. Representing clients on health and safety matters at meetings. Providing ongoing health and safety advice support guidance mentoring to clients Provide where required CDM/health and safety briefings, training to clients, and key members of the projects chain. Report on CDM/health and safety performance monitoring and reports. Experience : This CDM Health and Safety Consultant position is open at Consultant or Senior Consultant grade; subject to experience. Each grade comes with a progression plan in place to achieve promotion, pay rises and levels of responsibilities and duties within the business. Previous construction related experience and qualifications is always beneficial. Qualifications: You will hold or be working towards CMaPS and or CMIOSH. Strong knowledge of CDM. This CDM Health and Safety Consultant role has a salary between £55,000-£65,000 plus car allowance, pension and healthcare.

Building Safety Surveyor is required to work within the Building Safety team and the wider consultancy of a multidisciplinary practice providing integrated design and build services. Building Safety Surveyor duties include: Conducting façade and internal fire safety risk assessments and investigations. Producing detailed technical reports supported by photographic evidence. Conducting regular site inspections to monitor construction quality, safety and compliance. Ensuring all built elements align with approved drawings, specifications and standards. Identifying and reporting defects, risks and non-conformances. Maintaining clear site records, photos and concise inspection reports. Working with contractors and project teams to resolve issues promptly. Conducting peer reviews. Ensuring projects progress safely, efficiently and to the required standard. Completing EWS1 (External Wall System) form for buildings between 11-18m. Whilst the majority of work is across London and the South East, further travel is expected. Experience A good technical understanding of building regulations, NHBC standards, high rise buildings and façades is required for this role. Experience of inspecting fire safety measures in new build and construction projects. Qualifications Level 6 construction qualification or hold an HNC/HND/construction-related degree. Membership of one of the following: RICS / CIOB / CABE / ICWCI / MIFireE, would be beneficial but is not essential. This Building Safety Surveyor postition is a hybrid working role, with a salary of £60,000-£70,000 depending on experience, along with pension, healthcare and a comprehensive benefits package.
