A position has become available for a Experienced Quatity Surveyor to work for a Civils Contractor based in Aldermaston. The Contractor operates as a subcontractor to Main Contractors within the Water Sector and Housing sector. Due to an increase in workload a Quantity Surveyor is required to join the team, please note this role can be office based or work from home. Responsibilities Measurement and valuations of works for applications, variations and final accounts with both clients and suppliers. Ensure all contracts in supply chain are fit for purpose Cash Flow Forecasts Preparing Tenders Managing the dispute and defects process with the Client and Subcontractors Attend Client progress meetings. Qualifications/Skills A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or other related discipline (can be substituted by a relevant HNC and suitable experience Good MS Excel skills Experience with Civil Engineering and Construction projects Experience of working within the Water Industry would be advantageous

Painter required for a refurbishment project based on outskirts of Winchester. Duties for Painter will include prep work, gloss and emulsion work. Painter will need all own tools for this position. Carpenter required to work on large refurbishment of grade 2 listed building based in Castle Donington. Duties initially for Carpenter will consist of 2nd fixing in bedrooms, bathrooms, hallways, offices. Carpenter will not need a cscs card for this position but will need all own hand and power tools. Dumper Driver required. We have a vacancy for a qualified Dumper Driver to work on an infrastructure project laying pipes, ducting and trench backfilling. The Dumper Driver must have a qualification for driving a dumper truck either CPCS or NPORS. The Dumper Driver will be required to work with the gang and assist with the pipe and duct laying along with the backfilling. Telescopic Fork Lift operator required to work on a new build development based in Reading, Berkshire. Skilled Labour required to work on busy construction site. The Skilled Labourer will be required to work with bricklayers loading out blocks and bricks, mixing up mortar for the bricklayers. We require a Skilled Labour with previous experience of this type of work and can provide references for previous Skilled Labour work. Groundworker required for ongoing work. The Groundworker must have previous experience as a Civils Groundworker, their own PPE, a CSCS card and references for previous Groundworker positions. This Groundworker position will require you to jetwash manholes, clear drainage gullys, assist with the adaption of underground pipes, above ground gulleys. There will be other Groundwork duties as the project develops so the more experience in this type of work the better.
