Role: Test Engineer Location: North Somerset Salary: 34k - 42k About the role We are recruiting on behalf of a market leading electronics manufacturer as they look to expand their production teams across a number of areas. Operating in industries such as Aerospace, Defence and Medical, our client offers high-quality, high-reliability PCB electronic assembly, manufacturing and custom box-build solutions. Due to growth across the business, our client is looking for a Test Engineer to join their team. As a Test Engineer you will work closely with the Production & Inspection teams to understand product specifications, run a series of tests to ensure it meets the required standards. Responsibilities of Test Engineer Gather product requirements Run quality control on components and final products Analyse test results, detect issues and track root causes Suggest fixes and improvements Requirements of Test Engineer Previous experience as a Test Engineer within an electronics role Hands on experience using oscilloscopes, power supplies, incircuit debugger QMS knowledge Analytical mindset Qualification in Electronic Engineering ideal but not essential Remuneration 34k 42k starting salary 20 days annual leave + bank holiday + Christmas shut down Company pension and sick leave allowance
