The MAT has made the decision to fund and bring in house therapeutic services to include SaLT and EP (Educational Psychology) to work alongside the central and academy level pastoral and SEND teams. The MAT has made additional investment in these services to increase capacity in response to rising demand, to support student wellbeing and to add additional support to our multi-disciplinary team. The school improvement team are involved with strategic SEND and Inclusion development work and we are looking to build on this further with the development of our mental health network and increased training offer, with the aim of becoming a regional trailblazer to establish mental health support teams within MATs.
