As an Assistant Store Manager, you are responsible for assisting your Store Manager in the daily operation of the store, ensuring the highest performance possible in all areas within the operation. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - What you'll do Operational Requirements: Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, while ensuring conceptual store structures are maintained, by enforcing hygiene, health, and safety standards, resulting in the highest local standards and ratings. Employee Engagement: Assist the Store Manager in developing and engaging the team through daily feedback, in store training, and employee engagement initiatives Guest Experience: Ensure a guest first approach, building strong guest relations following our brand behavior principles and hereby increase overall guest loyalty and overall optimized store performance. Performance Management: Assist in building sales and optimizing store EBITDA to achieve or exceed defined KPI targets. JOB SUMMARY Position title: Facilities Engineer Reports to: Head of Facilities Job Location: London The position of Facilities Engineer will be based in our London office and will be part of our FM team. The Facilities Engineer is responsible for the repairs and maintenance of all facilities within assigned regions. This position will perform general building maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, HVAC, refrigeration, and appliance repair. The Facilities Engineer will work alongside the operation to maintain the aesthetic of our stores and ensure all equipment and systems are functioning optimally. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Performs basic repairs on plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. Troubleshoots, repairs and maintains store systems, equipment, and appliances. Orders supplies and materials needed to complete assigned tasks. Coordinates third party contractor activities and scheduling with Operations. Utilizes Facilities Ticketing platform to track, assign, dispatch and resolve tickets as necessary. KEY QUALIFICATIONS Experience not essential but preferable. Must be flexible to work on weekends. Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC and refrigeration. Ability to use hand tools and power tools. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Prolonged periods of standing and walking. Must be able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces. Ability to work in extreme temperatures, in high noise levels requiring hearing protection, and working around chemicals, cleaning materials, paints, etc. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver with strong organizational skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to work independently.
