This newly redefined role will lead the development of a high-value, responsive membership offer for over 9,000 psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors across the UK. The Director of membership will be responsible for delivering an inclusive and engaging member experience-overseeing services such as CPD, conferences and events, special interest groups, professional publications, and member communications. A key part of the role is ensuring that member feedback and professional needs are embedded into UKCP's strategy and service development. Reporting to the Chief executive officer and sitting on the Senior Management Team, the successful candidate will provide strategic leadership across all member-facing activity, helping to build a strong, connected professional community and reinforcing the value of UKCP membership at every stage of the practitioner journey.
