The package available for IQA Cyber Security: • Basic salary of £30000 - £35000 • 25 days annual leave plus public holidays and an extra day off for your birthday • Staff benefits including corporate discounts and childcare vouchers • Personal development opportunities in a highly supportive environment The role and responsibilities of the IQA Cyber Security: • Provide internal quality assurance for the Cyber Security Boot Camps. • Monitor IQA and assessment processes by sampling assessments to ensure impartial, valid and consistent assessment strategies in line with regulations. • Provide support and advice to the trainers/assessors, monitor performance, arranging assessment validation sessions ensuring the standardisation of assessment and best practices in assessment. • Provide feedback, advice and support on performance to the trainers/assessors. • Provide support on any skills gaps, learning needs and standardisation to support with CPD activities and the maintenance of vocational competence for the training team. • Ensure that qualification units meet the full qualification requirements as set by the awarding organisations. • Assist with the preparation and minute taking in standardisation meeting and offer additional support in the absence of the lead IQA. • Ensure that all compliance procedures are followed with reference to completion, filing and storage of evidence relating to the IQA and assessment processes. • Support with internal and external verification processes, plus quality review visits and action development/improvement points. Skills, knowledge and experience required for the IQA Cyber Security: • Hold a relevant IQA qualification. • Hold an assessor qualification e.g., CAVA, TAQA, A1 (or equivalent). • Hold functional Skills Level 2 in Maths and English (or equivalent). • Have a minimum of 1 year experience quality assuring vocational qualifications. • Experience within a cyber security quality assurance role. • Vocational competence in cyber security to the equivalent of Level 3 or above. • Knowledge of Awarding Organisations; Edexcel, NCFE, etc. The position of IQA Cyber Security is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
