The Role Technical Product Owner - £50,000 - £55,000 Per Annum DOE Are you ready to transform the way people park and move with innovative, tech driven solutions that will make a real impact? If so, we have an incredible opportunity for you . Our Technical Product Owner will play a key role in driving the execution and delivery of our innovative parking solutions. This hands-on position focuses on managing and optimising transactions systems, ensuring seamless functionality of features such as real time availability, payment processing and user interfaces. Acting as a bridge between the technical teams and business stakeholders you will prioritise tasks, resolve blockers and ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions that enhance operational efficiency and user satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Manage and prioritise the product backlog, creating actionable user stories and acceptance criteria to guide the development team. Over see the execution of key features like mobile app updates, booking engines and parking space sensors to meet user and business needs. Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and our technical team, ensuring clear communication and alignment on goals. Work closely with Developers to ensure technical feasibility, system performance and compliance with security and industry standards. Address and resolve technical issues in a timely manner, minimising disruptions to system functionality. Analyse data to recommend improvements. Essential Skills and Experience: 3+ years in technical product ownership, ideally in consumer facing solutions. Proven ability to prioritise tasks based on business value, customer impact and technical feasibility. Strong technical knowledge to work with development teams and understand the architecture of transactional systems (API, databases, integrations) Experience with technical documentation, system design and workflows to ensure clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to identify blockers and obstacles, work to resolve them and ensure project delivery on time. Experience with Agile Frameworks and tools. While not essential, experience in the parking or transport sector would be beneficial to understand the specific challenges and technologies involved.
