Role: Test Engineer Location: UK Remote Clearance: Active SC or SC Eligible Inside IR35 Umbrella rate 460.00 Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our software products through rigorous testing practises. You will work closely with developers and other stakeholders to identify and resolve issues, while contributing to the continuous improvement of our testing processes. Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases based on project requirements. - Perform integration testing and ensure that different software modules work together seamlessly. - Conduct API testing to verify that services are functioning as expected and meet performance standards. - Collaborate with developers to identify and troubleshoot defects, providing detailed documentation of findings. - Utilise databases effectively to support testing activities and validate data integrity. - Contribute to the creation and maintenance of test automation frameworks, using tools such as Playwright. - Work with TypeScript to develop automated test scripts and enhance testing efficiency. - Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality of code. - Strong GDS experience. Technology: - Proficiency in Playwright for test automation. - Strong experience with TypeScript for writing and managing test scripts. - Knowledge of integration testing methodologies. - Expertise in API testing and understanding of web services. - Familiarity with databases and ability to perform database testing

Role Overview As a Service Designer, you will play a key role in shaping and improving end-to-end services, ensuring they are user-centred, accessible, and aligned with Government Digital Service (GDS) standards and service assessments. You will work within multidisciplinary agile teams to design and deliver services that meet user needs and government best practice. Job Title: ServiceNow Architect Start Date: ASAP Max Day Rate: 550 per day IR35 Status: Inside IR35 As an Architect, you will work with multiple projects and teams to address challenges that require broad architectural thinking. Your leadership will be instrumental in mentoring team members, guiding other architects, and ensuring that our technical designs align with overarching strategic goals. Key Responsibilities - Lead the technical design of ServiceNow systems and services, justify and communicate design decisions, and assure the quality of services. - Develop and evolve governance frameworks to effectively manage delivery, utilising standards, guardrails, and principles. - Make informed decisions characterised by varying levels of risk and complexity, providing recommendations as needed. - Define and challenge strategies, patterns, standards, policies, and roadmaps, while offering proactive guidance across the organisation. - Design systems that are technically complex and carry significant business impact. - Review and integrate application requirements, including functional, security, integration, performance, quality, and operational specifications. - Provide insights into final decisions regarding hardware, network products, system software, and security measures. Qualifications - 5-10 years of experience in software development, with a strong background in Scala/Java 8 and ServiceNow - Proven experience with AWS (Amazon Cloud) and familiarity with DevOps tools. - Expert knowledge in transforming business problems into effective technical designs and managing stakeholder relationships. - Practitioner knowledge related to governance, assurance, strategic decision-making, and understanding the broader context within which projects operate.
