This full-time role involves supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across both primary and secondary age groups. As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play an important role in helping pupils access education, build confidence, and achieve their full potential within a supportive and inclusive learning environment. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who are patient, empathetic, and passionate about supporting children with additional needs . Placements may include specialist SEND schools, resource bases, or mainstream schools with dedicated SEND provisions. Pupils may have a variety of needs including Autism (ASC), ADHD, learning difficulties, sensory needs, or Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs .
