Business Support Officer - North Somerset Council Contract: 3+ Month Ongoing Contract Start Date: ASAP Working Pattern: Hybrid (minimum 3-4 days in the office) North Somerset Council is seeking a proactive and organised Business Support Officer to join the team working across Family Hubs in the region. This role plays a key part in supporting Early Help services and ensuring the smooth delivery of parenting programmes and groups across the locality. Key Requirements Enhanced DBS (required) Access to transport / ability to drive - You will be working across multiple Family Hubs and may occasionally need to visit other children's centres Able to work hybrid, with 3-4 days per week in the office Available to start immediately About the Role As a Business Support Officer, you will support the development and implementation of evidence-based parenting programmes within Early Help services. Responsibilities include: Supporting parenting programmes and parenting groups Assisting with the analysis of the current parenting offer Working collaboratively to help reshape the HIF/EH parenting plan Contributing to the development of a comprehensive parenting programme that meets local needs This role is essential in helping Early Help services deliver high-quality support to children, young people, and families across North Somerset.
