Across Go North East we operate over 500 vehicles daily, connecting passengers across the region, with technicians playing a fundamental role in ensuring these vehicles are fit for operation. We have depots in Consett, Gateshead, Hexham, North Shields, Sunderland and Washington and are looking for a Mobile Technician to work across all of our depots. Responsibilities The maintenance and repair of Company vehicles to the highest standards set by the Company. The preparation of vehicles for annual PCV tests. To handle vehicles and any other Company equipment with due care and attention. Thorough diagnosis and precise rectification of vehicle faults. To ensure that the vehicles required for service are serviced at the highest possible standard and that the instructions of the Fleet Engineer in this respect are carried out. To ensure compliance with the Factories Act, Health and Safety at Work Act or any other Acts, rules or regulations which the company adheres to. Requirements Applicant must be fully qualified HGV or PCV fitter with minimum NVQ level 2 or equivalent Minimum 5 years experience Previous working with Cummins, Volvo, Mercedes, Yutong, Wrightbus A Full Manual Car licence is required A PCV Licence is preferred, but not essential Hours:38 hours per week Any 5 days out of 7.
