Responsibilities Work alongside the Home Manager to identify evidence based training that will work in the home environment and to lead on and support others with implementing same Successfully complete all Hamberley homemaker lead training programmes which will include at least one day of learning to teach leadership skills and additional learning in area of specialism. This will include moving and handling and BLS train the trainer Act as a buddy and mentor to all colleagues who require further information/ coaching on supporting people with dementia Establish and cultivate strong links to the local / National training communities and become a 'champion' by delivering excellent training within the home. This should include linking with any associations such as Care Business associate training To support and ensure all learning is reflected in the practice within the home and become the expert in dementia care. A requirement of the role is a training qualification to lead training programmes and teach leadership skills We offer our Homemakers: - £13.00 per hour - Full Time shifts - 12-hour shifts - Enhanced overtime rate available - Quality bonus scheme linked to CQC Rating - Casual dress.
