Overview The MEP Commercial Lead takes overall responsibility for, in conjunction with the DiC/AM, and manages with limited direct involvement, to ensure a successful project outcome is delivered while maintaining relationships and maximising the commercial returns. The MEP Commercial Lead will be based on our £200m Great Ormond Street Hospital project with a MEP package of circa £67m. Responsibilities Liaise with the customer, his representatives and other 3rd parties on commercial issues, including the agreement of additional monies. Cost and value management for project, ensuring appropriate systems and procedures are in place. Identify unacceptable terms and conditions and negotiate contracts with clients and employers. Has detailed knowledge and experience of the project cost management systemand can provide detailed guidance to others. Devises innovative systems to control and monitor direct works cost and financial performance. Devises and manages complex Project Cost Reporting systems, with associated capacity to interrogate data and identify trends Proposes actions in response to changes in client and stakeholder needs and Expectations. Overview John Sisk & Son are looking for a Senior Planner to join their UK Infrastructure Business Unit to lead the planning management function for the Sisk group of companies. To set the standard for planning and project controls and regularly review the function in the preconstruction and construction phases. To develop a consistent approach and produce regular reports to feedback on progress and performance to the group board. Responsibilities Lead in the development of the baseline contract programme, covering all aspects of design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover. All elements to be fully logic linked and have a critical path. To lead in the preparation of a construction (target) programme highlighting areas of improvement against the contract programme. Prepare a tender event programme for the procurement of subcontractors incorporating design release and lead in activities. Maintain electronic files and administration of planning and programme documents to facilitate retrieval as required. Utilising the common data environment (CDE). Provide all programme information as required support the management team. To develop a 4D graphical model, where required or 2D phasing plans. To represent the sequence of build, phasing and logistics. Use the construction programme to produce / assist in the production of project prelim books including, but not limited to, staff resource, logistics and temporary works requirements. To engage with the supply chain to develop the project programme with regards to design, lead-in's, construction periods, plant & labour requirements To review risk and opportunities for every programme produced and highlight potential mitigation measures in the programme.
